Whether you’re looking for a first time rental or need somewhere as a stopgap we can accommodate you. Our range of property varies from one bed flats to five bed houses and everything in between. Use our search facility to identify which properties are suited to you and your requirements.

All of our letting agreements are done initially on a six month Assured Shorthold Tenancy. After the six months the agreement automatically progresses to a rolling month by month tenancy until a minimum of one months notice is given by the tenant.

If you want to apply for a property then download our ‘Procedure Form’ as well as the necessary forms marked with an asterisk. Complete these and then bring these in along with the correct fees and documents so we can begin your application assessment immediately.

Shorts cannot over emphasise the importance of completing the application forms accurately and honestly. Even if you have adverse credit history it is essential to declare these from the outset. Failure to do so will end the application process and you will forfeit any fees already paid.

The speed of which an application is processed is largely down to the applicant. For example, employer references can take a long time if the employer is not aware that they may be asked for a reference.

It is our policy that every tenant has proper tenant’s contents insurance. If you do not have any then Shorts recommends Lets XL tenant’s insurance and you can download the application form in the download section. You can of course choose your own but we need to ensure that you adequate cover.
